North Wales Premier T20 underway – Bangor bash the Bridge, Brymbo topple Northop

Action got underway tonight in the new North Wales Cricket T20 League for Premier Division sides.
The competition was supposed to be played in the month of July, hence why the Premier got reduced to 10 teams this season.
However, due to the start of the season being delayed through wet weather, some fixtures are being crammed into the bank holidays early.
Two weeks in July will comprise solely T20 games, two matches a day on a Saturday.
This is a separate league to the regular 50-over competition and the winners will go into a national T20 knockout..
As part of ECB regulations, the NWCL has to have a T20 league within a Premier League.
On Monday night, Gresford v Gwersyllt Park and Llandudno v Mochdre were cancelled due to rain, but Brymbo versus Northop and Menai Bridge against Bangor did go ahead.
