Championship Division

FC Plas Madoc 4 CPD Sychdyn 2
Plas Madoc hold a three-point lead at the top from CPD Gronant with both teams having played 21 of their 24 league games.
And that makes for a very tasty prospect when Madoc travel to Gronant this Saturday, April 20.

Premier Division
Connah’s Quay Town 0 Coedpoeth United 2
Two second-half goals a minute apart from Adam Lloyd earned Coedpoeth United a surprise first win in eight league attempts at the expense of a Connah’s Quay Town outfit whose slim hopes of the title became much slimmer.
Lloyd broke the deadlock on 71 minutes before adding a penalty soon after to revive next-to-bottom Coedy’s fortunes.
Championship Division
Brymbo 2 Johnstown 3
Captain Keneth Davies sealed a dramatic late win for Johnstown with an 89th minute decider.
Rob Cooper handed Brymbo a 20th minute lead before Dewi Reeves levelled with 40 on the clock.
Reeves struck again for the visitors on 51, but Joshua Price made it 2-2 after 64 and a draw looked likely until Davies plundered the decider.
Rhydymwyn 1 CPD Yr Wyddgrug 3
In two previous meetings with Rhydymwyn this season, Yr Wyddgrug had been defeated convincingly, but the league new boys got it right on Tuesday night at the Mighty Mornflake Oats Ground.
Rhyd could not keep up with the Joneses as Harry scored twice and David was also on target for the vsitors.
Liam Simon netted the home side’s reply.

Saturday, April 13
Premier Division
Caerwys 2 Castell Alun Colts 5
After seven games without a win Casty came good with a corking win at Caerwys.
Ben Bailey and Luca Nardo bagged a brace apiece for the visitors, Nathan Davies also on target, Nath Mandoza with both for the hosts.
Corwen 7 Connah’s Quay Town 1
A massive win for Corwen maintained their season-long unbeaten record which stretched to 14 games.
With these teams being first and third before start of play, a close contest was expected, but there was no stopping the rampant leaders.
Owen Cordiner and Robbie Williams both poached hat-tricks for Jamie Hulse’s men, Tom Williams also on the mark.
Lewis Hodson nabbed a consolation for Town, who missed a penalty through Ryan Hewitt when the score was 0-0.
Greenfield 2 Coedpoeth United 2
Greenfield appeared to be in control with a two-goal lead courtesy of a Ryan Jones pair, which included a penalty, but Adam Lloyd pulled one back for Coedy close to the break and then supplied the assist for Oliver Lewis’ 70th minute equaliser.
Ruabon Rovers 0 Penyffordd Lions 8
Sub Marcus Davies struck twice for a dominant Penyffordd, whose other goals came via fellow replacement Joe Henry, Simon Smith, Harry Brown, Ben Hughes, Liam Williams and Jack Pyke-Jones.
Championship Division
Aston Park Rangers 0 CPD Gronant 6
The on-fire Kallum Pierce led the way for Gronant with a hat-trick at Aston Park.
Pierce’s treble all came before the half-hour mark. Dylan Taylor, Steve Kirk and Dylan Murray added singles in the second half.
Holywell United 2 Acton 6
Sam Giles’ hat-trick took him over the 50 goals mark in all competitions for Acton this season.
The 25-year-old’s haul includes 41 in the Championship Division.
Also on the scoresheet for Acton on Saturday were Luke Hughes, Liam Davies and Ethan Callaghan, Adam Brown and Shea Harding (pen) responding for United.
Rhydymwyn 1 Plas Madoc 3
Nicky Williams, Joshua Rush and Ryan Jakovlevs grabbed the goals which made it 18 straight league wins for Plas Madoc.
Reserve Division

Lex Reserves 1 Caerwys Reserves 1
Second-place Caerwys Reserves had to be content with a draw at Lex.
Michael Parry put the Law into a 42nd minute lead before sub Nathan Prince equalised after 83.
