FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH TIER 3

Conwy Borough Reserves 2 Llangefni Town Reserves 1

Third-place Borough reserves showed good character to come from behind and claim a deserved three points with two late goals at Y Morfa Stadium last Friday.

Tomos Williams edged Llangefni ahead on 19 minutes and 1-0 is how it stayed up to half time.

And there was no further score until the 80th minute, when Jacob Guy equalised from a Russell Jones assist.

Five minutes later, Brad Williams grabbed the winner for Conwy.

John Webster was shown a red card for Llangefni before the end.

Brickfield Rangers Res 2 CPD Rhos Aelwyd Reserves 2

Carwyn Davies’ double ensured Rhos Aelwyd claimed a point from their visit to Clywedog Park.

Hawarden Rangers Reserves 2 Nantlle Vale Reserves 2

Great point for Hawarden as they equalised in the 97th minute against leaders Nantlle, who had won their last nine league games in succession.

Ironically, the previous team Vale had failed to beat was also Rangers, the sides drawing 4-4 at Maes Dulyn back in November.

On Saturday, Osian Williams gave the visitors a 20th minute lead, but a Lewis Hopwood penalty after 25 levelled the contest.

Phil Warrington edged the Penygroes side back in front after 54, but Lee King-Magee emerged the Hawarden hero with that dramatic equaliser seven minutes into stoppage time.

Hugh Jones was red-carded for Nantlle after the final whistle.

Llangollen Town Reserves 0 Cefn Albion Reserves 2

Kai Morris and Josh Valentine delivered the goals that mattered for visitors Albion.

Llay Welfare Reserves 1 St Asaph Reserves 2

Joshua Roberts’ 90th minute strike grabbed the points for Saints at The Ring.

Keanu Bruton put Llay in front after 14 minutes before Archie Jones made it one-apiece on 41.

Six of the best from Llandudno, with club social media king Levi Montgomery completing a hat-trick with a late penalty.
