Although they moved four points clear at the summit after Sunday’s draw, Kinmel Bay will probably see it as two dropped in the title race.
Just like the reverse fixture in September, this game finished 2-2. With 20 players aged 21 or under involved, it was a great advert for the Development league
Kinmel missed several early chances and the first goal of the afternoon went to NFA when Bay’s Dillan Robert was robbed of the ball on the edge of his own box by Liam Bowers, who slotted home one-on-one versus the keeper to make it 1-0 to the visitors on 26 minutes.
NFA then very nearly went 2-0 up with a long volleyed effort from the halfway beating Bay’s glovesman but bouncing just over the bar.
Both teams battled out the remainder of the first half, but some good defending made sure the game remained 1-0 to the visitors at the break.
The first goal of the second half came on 62 minutes, A free kick 25 yards out was whipped in by Jacob Jones and beat everyone to find its way into the corner of the goal and get Bay back level.
And it didn’t take them long to get a second, Jones again scoring after his initial shot was well saved by Luke McGuinness but he was quickest to react to the rebound to tap home his second of the game and his 14th of the season.
Both teams kept defending well and trying to apply pressure but it wasn’t until the 88th minute that NFA got the final breakthrough.
After initial good defending from Bay the ball broke to Bowers in the box and he made no mistake with the finish to make the game 2-2, a fair outcome on the day.
Bay MOTM- Jacob Jones

Brilliant result for Y Glannau in a nine-goal stormer at Bastion Gardens.
Barry Roche handed Bow an eighth-minute lead, but Rhys Thomas-Clark and Owen Williams hit back for the visitors before Cameron Vaughan made it all-square.
Roche had the last word of the half as he made it 3-2 to the Prestatyn outfit.
There were no further goals until the 76th minute when Thomas Jones levelled for the St Asaph travellers.
Who would win it from here?
Williams edged Y Glannau in front on 77 and completed his hat-trick on 84 to all but seal an away win.
Vaughan responded for Bow, but Y Glannau held on for the points.
Third-place Llanfairfechan lost ground in the title race after being held at Llysfaen.
Llanrug returned to top spot, Owen Roden, Gwion Williams, Osian Williams, Berian Llwyd and Sam Griffiths with their goals at Plas Silyn.
Goals from Daniel Olonade and Sion Williams (2) kept Bont in the contest.
