Kinmel Bay FC men’s first team enjoyed a 2024-25 season to remember.

Not only did they finish runners-up in the tier 4 North Wales Coast East League Premier Division, pushing invincible champions Penmaenmawr Phoenix all the way, they also reached a second successive Cookson Cup final.

On this occasion, treble-winners Phoenix edged home on spot-kicks as opposed to the previous season when Bay defeated Llandudno Junction in the final.

However, when the club held its annual presentation evening last weekend, the mood was buoyant, with optimism for an even better 2025-26.
