Second-place Radnor returned to winning ways following three successive league defeats in January, as they overcame Penycae 2-0 at The Riverside.
The hosts came into the match having only lost one of their previous seven league fixtures and asked plenty of questions of the Valley defence during the opening 45 minutes.
However, neither team were able to find the back of the net during the first-half.
The Goats looked a much more determined outfit after the interval and eventually broke the deadlock in the 74th minute when Joey Price latched on to a well-timed pass before rounding advancing goalkeeper Dan Clark and turning the ball into an empty net.
The home team were reduced to 10 players in the 83rd minute when Josh Mazzarella was shown two yellow cards by referee Michael Gray only a few seconds apart.
The Wrexham outfit seemed to switch-off from the subsequent free-kick taken by the New Radnor men, less then 60 seconds later, when Callum Matthews was afforded the time and space in the penalty area to fire the ball past Clark and secure a vital three points.
A sixth straight league win for Penrhyncoch kept them eight points clear at the summit.
Yet the visitors had to fight back from two goals down at Llanfair on Saturday.
Flynn Morris struck a double early blow for the hosts, netting on two and 16 minutes.
This served as a real wake-up call for the Roosters, who replied through Cameron Allen to make it 2-1 at half time.
Allen levelled four minutes into the second half and a Rhys Stephens own goal on 63 put Penrhyn ahead for the first time.
Daniel Owen made it 4-2 with 66 on the clock and that was the end of the scoring.
A much-needed win for Llansantffraid after three successive defeats.
Goals on eight and 29 minutes from Adam Biggs sealed the spoils at Tower Fields.
Llanuwchllyn suffered a first league defeat of the season while ever-impressive Llandrindod made it 10 without loss in Ardal North East.
Having taken 24 points out of a possible last 30, Wells are now nicely placed in third spot.
Jack Evans, Richard Powell and Kieran McCarley delivered the goals that mattered for the visitors, Meilir Williams’ 26th of the season providing the hosts’ consolation.
Still no win for Welshpool but just a second draw of the season from 17 matches represented a very good result against an in-form Dolgellau.
Ethan Kinsey gave the home team a 47th minute lead, but Wiliam Gruffydd equalised on 59 for the visitors, who had Edward Powl-Jones red-carded after 82
