NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE – SEPTEMBER 5

Premier Division

Gwalchmai 0 Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 3

Blaenau claimed their first away league win of the season at Maes Meurig on Saturday.
Sion Woolway and Mabon Owen scored in the first half, while captain Jack Diamond added a third for the Quarrymen on 56 minutes.

Nantlle Vale 2 CPD Llanberis 1

Llanberis took the lead on the half-hour through a Huw Owen penalty, but the Darans suffered a blow six minutes later when they had Caio Thomas red-carded.
Ashley Owen equalised from the penalty spot on 38 and Alex Kalafusz pocketed the winner for Vale in the 68th minute from a Nathan Palmer assist.

Division One

Llangoed and District 2 Llanfairpwll 1

Two first half goals from corners earned Llangoed victory in a blood and thunder derby against Llanfairpwll at Tyddyn Paun.
Pwll went close early on when a 30-yard piledriver from Tomos Williams came back off the crossbar.
The deadlock was broken in the 18th minute when a low flag-kick from the right was touched home by Matty Owen.
Five minutes before the break, a corner from the right by Owen saw Matthew Morris leap highest to head in off the post.
Llanfairpwll responded immediately when Dei Thomas crossed from the right, Tomos Williams controlled and applied a magnificent finish.
The second half saw Puffins player Morris receive a straight red card on 71 minutes.
Pwll’s Ashley Davies was shown a second yellow after 85.

Caergybi 4 Amlwch Town 1

Caergybi celebrated the first win of their comeback season at the expense of Amlwch at Millbank.
Aiden Davies edged the hosts in front on nine minutes and the 16-year-old struck again in first half added time,
James Ryan scored a third for the home side before Harley Owen made it 4-0.
Cian Evans bagged a 75th minute consolation for Amlwch.

CPD Llanerchymedd 4 CPD Caernarfon Borough 1

Jamie Patterson continued his flying start in a Llanerchymedd shirt with a hat-trick in a victory which saw his team go top of the table.
Patterson netted on 5, 35 and 46 minutes, but on a less happy note was shown a red card after 74, David Tindall of Boro also getting his marching orders.
Matthew Parry added a single for Medd, Owain Hughes replying for the visitors to make it 2-1 at half time.

CPD Pentraeth 2 Holyhead Town 6

Sub Craig Moore notched a second half hat-trick in Holyhead’s thumping victory at Bryniau.
Mike Edwards scored twice for the visitors, while Mike Jones also found the net.
Charlie Dales and captain Dyfed Alston responded for Pentraeth, who took an early lead which they maintained up to the interval.
