She can’t stop delivering doubles, but now everyone at her club wants to see a hat-trick!
CPDM Y Felinheli attacking midfielder Jenna Tugwell-Allsup is in the form of her life in the Tier 2 Genero Adran North League.
So far this season, she has netted nine goals for the team currently lying second in the table with only Llandudno above them.
On four occasions this term, Jenna, 37 last week, has scored two goals in a game, something she also achieved twice for CPDM Bangor in 2022-23 when she was part of the North Wales Women’s League title winners with an unbeaten record.
While our records do not go back to the start of her career, where she represented Caernarfon Town and Bethesda Athletic among others and so may well have recorded a hat-trick at some stage, she hasn’t quite managed it over the past three seasons – yet.
That is no reason whatsoever to be disappointed, however, as for most of her footballing life the mother-of-two has been a defender. It was only last season, when she joined Bangor, that she requested to play more of an attacking role.
The results were superb, with 11 first-team goals scored in 2022-23 and now nine for Felin this term.
Officially DR Jenna Tugwell-Allsup, the Felinheli star is a research radiographer based in Bangor.
With numerous trophies and medals won with different clubs, Jenna would be very proud to add another notch to her CV this season – that elusive hat-trick.
The way she is playing, don’t bet against her!
