North Wales Women’s League West: Caernarfon Town are off the mark!

Caernarfon Town produced a great win and performance on Sunday

NORTH WALES WOMEN’S LEAGUE WEST

Caernarfon Town 2 (Brown pen 57, Hughes 90+2)
Llanystumdwy 0

Joy for Caernarfon as they not only celebrated their first league win of the season but also lifted themselves off the bottom of the table.

Both teams played incredibly well in a good contest at The Oval, The pair had drawn 2-2 at Llanystumdwy back in October.

Caernarfon approached the game with their heads high as always and each player gave their all.

Debutantes Kreena Worbey and Jemma Rowlands, who have just joined Caernarfon, both performed well.

Both sides produced some great football in the first half, superb passing and communication mixed in with some very good defending.

The second half was the same but Caernarfon took their opportunities when they came.

Amber Brown broke the deadlock on 57 minutes from the penalty spot.

The points were sealed in added time when a Llinos Hughes cross found its way into the net.
