NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE

PREMIER DIVISION

Amlwch Town 1 CPD Llannerchymedd 3

Amlwch remain in the bottom two after coming off second best in Saturday’s island derby against Llannerchymedd.

The visitors struck first when Josh Evans scored after just nine minutes at Lon Bach, Gafyn Buckland with the assist.

Callum Roberts doubled the away total in the 27th minute and it remained 2-0 up to half time.

Amlwch gave themselves some hope when Cian Evans pulled a goal back just two minutes into the second period.

However, Arden Gisbourne netted for Medd on 51 minutes and 3-1 is how it stayed.

To make matters worse for Town, they had Gareth Torr dismissed after 87 for a second yellow and manager Rob Williams-Jones was shown a straight red on 90.

DIVISION ONE

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 2 Llanfairpwll 3

Iwan Williams’ second goal of the game also proved to be the 80th minute winner for in-form Llanfairpwll at Cae Clyd.

The Anglesey side took the lead on 20 minutes when top-scorer Marquis Holland found the net.

Williams made it two just four minutes later, but Morgan Slater got the Quarrymen back into it by replying with 35 on the clock.

Oliver Dukes-Morgan made it all-square in the 72nd minute, Elis Jones assisting, and the game could have gone either way from that point, but that third for Llanfairpwll from Williams on 80 settled it.

CPD Gaerwen 0 Bethesda Rovers 0

Nine yellow cards but no goals at Lon Groes where both sides had to settle for a point.

Llanystumdwy 2 Llangoed and District 1

Yet again Llanystumdwy profited from their penchant for late goals as Iolo Jones nabbed a 91st minute winner at Parc Dwyfor.

Jay Finter put Llangoed ahead from a 36th minute free kick , but just past the hour James Hughes levelled for the hosts, heading in from a Iolo Jones set-piece delivery.

In the 91st minute, a long throw led to a scramble and the ball broke to Iolo Jones who finished from 12 yards to win the game.

NWCFA MABON SCAFFOLDING JUNIOR CUP

Caergybi 3 Bontnewydd 4

Junior Cup progression for Bontnewydd after coming out on top in a seven-goal thriller at Millbank.

Nik Kontodios handed Caergybi a second-minute lead from a Jerome Sillence assist, but Sion Jones soon levelled for the visitors before a Matthew Jones own goal on 18 restored the home advantage.

Shaun Roberts put Bont back on terms prior to half time to set up a fascinating second stanza.

Alex Kalafusz nudged the Caernarfon area villagers ahead for the first time on 48 minutes, then the legendary ex-Caernarfon Town star Clive Williams struck another for Bont after 51.

Louis Chapman reduced the arrears to 4-3 on 54 and it looked certain that there would be more goals, but this was not to be the case.
