Pwllheli round off 2022-23 season with 7-0 win and a ninth straight victory

Lois Thomas boosted her goals tally for the season to 26 as Pwllheli celebrated a ninth straight league win.

And that rounds off the 2022-23 campaign for the North Wales Women’s League although two fixtures remain outstanding.

Today’s game at Llanfairfechan saw Thomas put the visitors ahead on 11 minutes.

The team’s leading markswoman Thomas added a second in first half injury time and shortly afterwards a Tiffany Pacelli own goal made it 3-0 at the break.

Early in the second half, Nia Wyn Jones added a fourth for the away side, Bess Roberts made it five on the hour, then late strikes from Magi Hughes and Mari Owen completed the scoring.
