In a high-scoring game no batsman on either side managed to score a half-century, but early Division One leaders Dolgellau picked up the all-important win at Pentre Mawr.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Dol piled up 246-9 off 45 overs, Jaco Oosthuizen scoring 37, Sam Williams 36 and Stuart Evans 35, Nathan Aldridge claiming 3-37, Berwyn Thomas 2-15 and Luke Sellers 2-18 for Gele.
The hosts’ innings ended on 210-9, with again no-one able to reach 40.
Opener Gareth Edwards (37) and Mark Everall (35) put on 65 for the first wicket, Owen Lynam adding 31.
Jack Williamson took 4-38 and Morgan Yorke 3-47 for the visitors, who bagged the points 12-3.
After being put into bat, Buckley soon found trouble at 28-4, but recovered to make a more respectable 123 all out in an innings that lasted just 25.1 overs.
Jack Gibson led the fightback for the hosts, hitting 39 not out off 37 balls which included six fours and a six.
Liam Bibby picked up 4-26 and Tomos Rees Jones 3-31 for the visitors, who found things by no means easy in reply, but managed to get to a winning 124-7 off 34.3.
