Genero Adran North – FINAL TABLE

Llandudno 5 Llanfair United 1

Llandudno ended their league campaign in fine style with a 5-1 whipping of Llanfair at Nantporth.

Five different players appeared on the scoresheet for the 2021-22 champions, who finished in third place this time around.

The opening goal was a really popular one – captain Sofie Owen bagging her first of the season with Erin Doran providing the assist.

Consistent markswoman Harriet Davies levelled on seven minutes but that was as good as it got for the Powys side.

Erin Doran herself made the scoresheet on 32 minutes, just reward for a young talent who has grown in stature as the season has gone on.

Becca Jarvis-Evans, who assisted in the Doran goal, then continued her own recent run of goals, making it 3-1 on 36 minutes after Sioned Phillips set her up.

Six minutes into the second half, joint top-scorer Maddie Williams struck for the hosts, Shona Roberts with the assist.

And rounding it off in injury time was a goal for Phillips, Jarvis-Evans with a second assist of the day. It was Phillips’ second net-finder of the campaign.

North Wales Women’s Football League

Flint Town United 1 Northop Hall 2

Brygida Gorecka’s 58th minute winner booked the points for Northop Hall in this close-fought derby at the Essity.

Gemma Williams opened the scoring for the Hall in the 16th minute and it remained 1-0 up to the break.

Eight minutes into the second half, Jennifer Haynes notched her first goal for Flint since moving from Connah’s Quay Nomads.

Gorecka nudged Northop Hall back in front soon after, Hannah Williams with the assist, and 2-1 is how it stayed.

Llanfairfechan Town 2 Amlwch Town 3

After going 3-0 down early in the second half, Llanfairfechan produced a good fightback but it was not enough to save them from defeat.

The Anglesey visitors got off to a flyer, Joanna Bramwell and Meinir Thomas both netting inside the first five minutes.

Three minutes into the second stanza, Emma Roberts put the islanders three-up and it looked like the contest was over.

Not so. Jessica Roberts netted twice in six minutes and with just 63 on the clock it was game on with Amlwch now only 3-2 ahead.

However, that was the end of the goals.

Llanystumdwy 0 NFA 5

Zoe Stopford put away a hat-trick for NFA in an emphatic win at 10-player Llanystumdwy.

Stopford struck on 16 and 32 minutes, then Sade Benjamin’s 24th of the season made it 3-0 at half time.

In the 73rd minute Stopford made it a treble and Ashleigh Mills added number five near the end.

Llan, who had to cope with 10 players after a sudden bereavement in the camp, battled their hearts out as always.

The visitors had Amy Webster sent off in the first half for two yellow cards.

CPD Pwllheli 1 CPDM Bangor 1876 1

Bangor 1876 finish their season as undefeated champions – 20 wins and two draws.

They ended their league campaign with a 1-1 split at Pwllheli.

Magi Hughes edged the hosts in front on 48 minutes, but Ella Jones responded after 54.

Trearddur Bay 1 Llangefni Town 5

Seventeen-year-old sensation Jess Jones delivered a double as third-place Llangefni made it five unbeaten in the league and 13 points from a possible last 15.

A stunning first-half display set Cefni up for a big win as they led 3-0 at the break.

Ellie Coulson got the ball rolling with a 13th minute strike – her 11th goal of the season.

Jess Jones doubled the lead from a Nia Ginnelly assist on 17. Then just past the half hour it was Jess Jones on target again.

No further goals until midway through the second half when a Freya Davies net-finder, Gemma Thomas assisting, gave Trearddur some hope.

However, five minutes later, the in-form Ffion Thomas netted her 12th of the season to make it 4-1.

And what better way for Cefni to finish it off – a 21st goal of the season from the ever-deadly Jen Cox in the 85th minute.

NEWFA Women’s Cup semi-final

Denbigh Town 0 Airbus UK Broughton 2

Two goals late in the first half from Katie Armstrong proved enough to put Airbus into final where a tough test against holders Connah’s Quay Nomads or Llanfair United awaits.

Armstrong made the breakthrough on 37 minutes from a Bethan Davies assist and the scorer added a penalty in first half added time.
