After losing their 100% record at Amlwch seven days earlier, 1876 returned to winning ways on Sunday with a convincing success at Central Park.
Just the one goal was scored in the first half, Danielle Barnfield with her 11th of the season in the 31st minute, Mia Roberts supplying the assist.
It remained 1-0 until past the hour, then in the 62nd minute Jenna Allsup doubled the away lead with her 11th goal of the campaign.
Two late goals made sure of a Bangor triumph, Mia Roberts scoring on 86 and 91 minutes.
It is quite a contest to finish highest scorer between Mia Roberts, Jenna Allsup and Danielle Barnfield! Mia is on 12, Jenna and Danielle 11 each. All three for sure would say the most important thing is the team getting goals, not individual players.
Now unbeaten in 19 matches – 18 wins and a draw – 1876 are 22 points clear at the summit.
Another three points at Llanystumdwy next weekend will ensure the lowest they can mathematically finish is second.
Ffion Thomas notched a dramatic winner for Llangefni five minutes into added time at Dwyfor Park.
Kate Davies struck first for the hosts on 27 minutes from a Grace Mpuku assist.
Jess Jones levelled in the 35th minute and Cefni had a chance to go in leading at the interval, but Ffion Thomas hit the bar from the penalty spot.
The penalty misses were evened up on the hour when Mpuku blasted over.
A draw was on the cards until Thomas made up for her spot-kick failure by firing in the decider in the dying seconds, the shot perhaps taking a slight deflection. It was Thomas’ 10th goal of the season.
Second-place NFA completed a double over a Northop Hall side they beat 5-1 away back in October.
Player of the match Ruby McGilloway put the Rhyl side in front after 12 minutes.
Jessica Mills made it two soon after, Amy Webster with the assist.
Caitlin Hadaway missed a penalty for the hosts on 22, but on the stroke of half time Sade Benjamin put away her 23rd goal of the season to give NFA a commanding 3-0 lead.
McGilloway nabbed her second seven minutes into the second half and 4-0 is how it stayed.
NFA head coach Richie Ingram said: “We welcomed Northop Hall to Derwen Fields knowing it would be a hard game, but we had a good prep at training for the game ahead.
“A late fitness test for goalkeeper Courtney Ingram provided the coaching staff with an issue, but new coach Yasmin Mills stepped up and sorted a rotation of outfielders in goal.
“Moving things round means moving how we play, but I don’t think that affected us as a team – we were always looking to attack.
“Fair play to Northop they never gave in but I feel we have changed as a team by adding Yas to the coaching staff. She brings everyone together.”
Still with 12 matches to play, Pwllheli face a massive clash at second-place NFA next Sunday.
They tuned up for their long trip to Rhyl with a sixth straight league win at the weekend.
Pwll defeated Caernarfon Town 6-1, Lois Thomas the star with a hat-trick, bagging goals after 18, 88 and 90+2 minutes.
Stacey Sansome, Bess Roberts and Mari Owen added singles for the home side, Alaw Parry replying for the visitors, who trailed just 1-0 at half time.
Three good points for Trearddur at Lon Isallt, Sarah Flower, Rhodd Parry and Gail Patterson-Manning the scorers.
This was a first win in five matches for the Bay, and their fourth victory in the league this term.
