NORTH WALES COAST RESERVES LEAGUE CUP QUARTER-FINALS

Prestatyn-based Bow advanced to the League Cup semi-finals after winning a seven-goal thriller at home to Llanberis.

Josh Lally (2), Cale Kemp and Kyle Lally made up the home total, Cian Pleming (2) and a Zak Johnson own goal running the visitors close.

With a 16-man squad available which included returning vice-captain Barry Roche, Bow were able to field a strong side.

Josh Lally scored from an early free kick, but Pleming soon responded for the Darans.

Half time 1-1, but three minutes into the second period Kemp put the home team 2-1 up with a fine 20-yarder.

Kyle Lally made it 3-1 before captain Josh Lally added a fourth on 57 with a superb finish.

Llanberis hit back twice, but were unable to stop Bow going through.

Bontnewydd Reserves 0 St Asaph Reserves 4

Peter Jones knocked in a hat-trick as Saints swept aside Bont to enter the last four.

Former Llandudno Albion, Penmaenmawr Phoenix and Llandudno striker Jones netted on six, 39 and 49 minutes, with substitute Ryan Stuart also on the mark for the visitors early in the second half.

Great win for Pwllheli with Dylan Sion Roberts, Ifan Jones and Cai Tate providing their goals.

Elliot Croston handed Llanfair a 14th minute lead, but a straight red card for Cai Jones on 20 knocked the home side’s rhythm.

Town went 3-1 down and had Ryan Bourne red-carded on 89 minutes before grabbing a late consolation.

Penmaenmawr Phoenix Reserves 0

Second-place Nefyn ended champions Phoenix’s unbeaten record with a 2-0 success at Caer Delyn.

The Penwaig, now just two points behind Pen and level on games, struck first through Sam Jones on three minutes before Luke Allaway doubled the advantage on 38.
