With a number of regulars missing, Llandudno still had enough resources to claim all three points at Nantporth Stadium, Bangor.

Top-scorer Mari Gibbard, as well as key usuals Indie Hassall and Louisha Doran were among those absent from the ‘home’ team’s starting line-up.

Both teams started full of fire but there was no sign of an early breakthrough before Tudno took an 18th minute lead.

After a few good passes around the pitch, Stacey Tradewell sent a precise ball to Jasmin Dutton, whose tremendous shot from 30 yards flew into the top corner. A trademark long range goal from the former Wales international.

At the start of the second half, Llandudno made some position changes which paid dividends after just three minutes.

Maddie Williams’ shot was saved but from the rebound Sioned Phillips pounced to smash into the bottom corner.
