Harrison Bellis made it three when he caught out the Llysfaen defence after a mix up between goalkeeper and defender, pouncing to tap the ball into the empty net.
Michael Bellis then went on a great run. The Llysfaen defender’s clearance struck Michael in the face but this didn’t stop him continuing his run and finding McQuillen, who chipped the ball in the air with his first touch then lashed in for 4-0.

DIVISION ONE
Betws-y-Coed 1 Rhyl All Stars 2
All Stars manager Robert Cunnah was proud of this resilience his team showed in winning this tight showdown between two struggling clubs.
Cunnah has announced he is stepping down and the Rhyl outfit is currently seeking a new first-team boss.
Saturday’s result edged All Stars further away from the bottom three.
The visitors took an eighth-minute lead when Lewis Evans’ ball into the box was poked into the bottom corner by Joseph Smith.
Both sides created chances thereafter, but the respective defences coped well.
On the 30-minute mark Betws won a corner from which All Stars broke, Smith seeing the run of Frankie Davies in behind the home defence,
Davies took on Smith’s pass well, and after a 30-yard run with the ball, he slotted into the bottom-right corner, to make it 2-0 the greens.
Owen Hughes’ cross was then destined for the top corner, but Sam Hawkins in the Betws goal pulled off a stupendous save.
The home team then set up an interesting second half, when Jo Owen scored from a corner.

The second half saw chances either end, but the closest call came in the closing stages when the prolific Mike Chapman hit the post for Betws.
After the game, winning manager Cunnah said: “Both us and Betws have had our struggles on and off the pitch this season, with both of us struggling for a team.
“We knew today was going to be a tough game, with our recent results not being great and conceding a lot of goals.
“We know Betws were going to really take the game to us, and all credit to them they did that. They pressed us hard, and continued to work the defence with balls over the top and obviously putting the pressure on before half time with the goal.
“Apart from the goal, our defence was brilliant, dealing with 99% of everything Betws threw at us. The hunger from the lads really showed with how they defended putting everything on the line for the win.
“Going forward we were fantastic as well. The amount of chances we created was incredible. If we were more clinical we could have easily scored 10 goals, I say that with no disrespect to Betws but we weren’t clinical enough today at all, having 20 plus shots on goal and only coming away with 2 goals.
“Today was a real team performance.
“This was a major confidence boost for the lads, especially after the last 6 weeks which have been extremely tough for everyone at the club. Hopefully we can continue the standard of performance going into next week, and be more clinical in front of goal.”
CPD Caer Clwyd 9 Penrhyn Bay 1

Probably Clwyd’s best team performance of the season saw them rise to second in the Division One table.
Joel Rowlands, Morus Owen and Craig Lavery all scored two apiece, while there was one each for Elis Davies, Shaun Edwards and Jay Williams.
Solomon Dickens replied for the Bay.
