Second-half substitute Andrew Merner scored twice to clinch Rhuddlan the three points which nudged them up to second in the table.
The visitors could have been 3-0 ahead inside the first five minutes but some poor finishing and fine saves from keeper Kyle Jones kept it scoreless.
The deadlock was broken in the 33rd minute when keeper Jones conceded a free-kick which David Sharkey took quickly for Marios Avraam to score his first goal for the club.
Llanfairfechan were always looking dangerous on the attack, forcing Andrew Symonds into a fantastic save before equalising in the 44th minute via Bradlee Rowlands with a back-post finish following a corner.
Chances aplenty but no goals for John Barnes’ side after the break until the 66th minute introduction of Merner changed things.
In the 70th minute new signing Merner took on a great pass from Jordan Bellham and ran on to score.
A few changes from both sides opened up the game more with Llanfairfechan looking for the equaliser.
On 89 minutes Rhuddlan struck on the break with Harvey Bennett playing the ball to Merner to make it 3-1.
Llandyrnog were heading for top spot when they led Llannefydd 2-0, but the visitors produced a big comeback to take maximum points.
After a goalless first half, a Jamie Jones double on 49 and 64 minutes put Jimmy McNally’s side two goals to the good.
However, Edward Jones and Tudur Jones made it level by the 73rd minute and sub Robin Hughes won it in the 92nd.
Llandyrnog had Robert Hurst and Adam Harvey-Davies red-carded after the final whistle.
Hat-trick hero Ian Griffiths made it nine goals in his last four matches and 14 for the season with a magnificent display at Cae Sling.
The ever-prolific front man scored on 15, 43 and 47 minutes, the latter a penalty, the first two a top-corner finish and a near post header.
Sports’ other two goals were magnificent.
Lee Beattie, who has something of a reputation for wonder strikes, made a stunning run into the penalty box, rounded the keeper and slotted into an empty net.
Antonio Jacovelli’s goal was the best of lot, He jinked past a host of opponents down the right, beat two more and from an almost impossible angle found the roof of the net.
Ricky Jones and Mezz Knight replied for Phoenix.
Alun Hughes scored the only goal in the 28th minute as Blaenau celebrated a home win over Llansannan.
Well done to Glan Conwy who picked up their first point of the season.
Luke Roberts (2) and Tom Sheridan had Cernyw 3-1 up at one stage, but Harry Sweetman, Tyler Griffiths and a 79th minute equaliser from Ricki Roberts salvaged a draw for the visitors.
Two penalties from Mathew Jones, plus further goals by Jack Williams and Nathan Williams earned Junction a fourth win in succession.
Tomos Tryfan Jones replied with a spot-kick for Cerrig.
