FAW Welsh Cup third round – Caernarfon drawn away to holders, Nomads v Bay pick of the ties

Cymru North leaders Colwyn Bay have been drawn away to Cymru Premier side Connah’s Quay Nomads for the second season running in the Welsh Cup.
Last season, the Bay caused a big upset with a 2-0 victory at Deeside Stadium in the quarter-finals. Steve Evans’ side went on to lose 1-0 to The New Saints in the semis.
This time, Nomads and the Seagulls have been paired in round three in what many will see as the most eye-catching tie of the last 32.
Caernarfon Town have their hands full with a trip to holders TNS, who scraped through on penalties against Chirk AAA at the weekend.
Ruthin Town of the Cymru North might fancy their chances of a giant-killing at home to Pontypridd United of the Cymru Premier.
