Dave Hayes’ 88th minute goal clinched the derby win that moved resurgent Holywell into the top six on Bank Holiday Monday.
The home side’s first chance came on nine minutes, when Danny Sullivan’s header from a corner was cleared off the line.
The Wellmen took the lead with 15 minutes on the clock. Danny Andrews lofted a free kick towards the far post and Danny Sullivan was there to head home.
Buckley’s first real opportunity on 23 minutes saw Patrick Hinchcliffe’s free kick fly inches over Keighan Jones’ crossbar.
Moments later, the hosts were reduced to 10 men, Andrews seeing red for a challenge on Rueben Teixeira.
Buckley levelled on 29 minutes as Dylan Roberts’ shot took a wicked deflection past keeper Jones.
In the 38th minute, Holywell were awarded a penalty after Kai Wallis was brought down.
Dave Forbes stepped up to take the kick but it was saved by Jack Edwards.
Half-time: 1-1
Both sides had chances in the second half before Johnny Haseldin’s side took a late lead.
Zebb Edwards’ shot was blocked, but the ball rebounded towards veteran Hayes who calmly fired into the bottom corner.
Chirk recorded their first-ever win in Cymru North with a injury-time winner from substitute Ed Baker.
A first half with few opportunities ended with a Porthmadog goal four minutes into added time.
A corner deceived the Chirk defence and defender Nathan Williams headed in at the far post.
It was a hammer blow for the Colliers, but to their credit they came out second half and took the game to Porthmadog.
It took a mix up in the Port defence to give Chirk their break. A through ball was chased down by youngster Rhys Edwards and his pressure made Port keeper Morgan Jones kick against his own defender.
The ball bounced kindly for Edwards to tap home from close range for his first goal since his loan move from TNS.
In the dying minutes Chirk streamed forward and were awarded a last minute penalty for a shirt-tug in the box. Up stepped Baker who calmly slotted the spot kick home.
Bay went top of the table on goal difference – and with a game in hand – after a Bank Holiday beating of Mold.
Two goals from skipper Tom McCready and one apiece from Kristian Platt and James Kirby secured the points.
McCready cut inside and sent a left-foot shot into the bottom corner to put his side ahead on 19 minutes.
Mold came more into the game when Bay suffered the blow of losing Alex Downes through injury.
However, two goals in as many minutes at the start of the second half put the Seagulls well in control.
Platt scored with a back post header from McCready’s corner on 47 minutes. McCready then turned on the edge of the area and curled a shot into the corner of the net.
Kirby made it 4-0 on 73 minutes after keeper Elliot Quinlan spilled Dylan Allshorn’s cross.
John Littlemore rescued a point for Conwy with a 73rd minute equaliser after 10-man Druids had led through Eric Durnell’s opener on the half-hour.
Substitute Will Denham’s late double turned the tables to win the day for Llanidloes.
Jamie Pick handed Hotspur a 16th minute lead, Luke Boundford levelled soon after, but Kenleigh Owen’s goal on 64 put the hosts back in front before Denham struck on 72 and 81 minutes.
Marc Williams’ 86th minute decider clinched three hard-earned points for Llandudno.
Guilsfield led in the fifth minute through Ben Guest’s strike and it was not until the 69th that Luke Smith put the Seasiders back on terms.
Then Williams netted four minutes from time and Tudno could afford the luxury of a later missed penalty from Shaun Cavanagh.
Daniel Atkins was a hat-trick hero for a Prestatyn side which had this match wrapped up by half time.
Tom Hilditch scored in the first minute for the Seasiders, Dean Davies soon added another, then Atkins bagged a brace on 13 and 41.
Atkins completed his treble after 58.
Sam Rickett made it 3-1 to the hosts five minutes into injury time to put the result to bed.
Ruthin had earlier led through a Jamie Cumming penalty, only for Adam Hesp to make it all-square before the break.
Hesp was dismissed for a second yellow five minutes into the second half, putting Gresford up against it.
Cumming made it 2-1 on 61 minutes before fluffing his chance of a hat-trick with a missed spot-kick after 63.
Town could finally rest when Rickett nabbed that late third.
Dan Burgess’ 84th minute net-finder secured a great three points for a Buckley outfit which scuppered Llandudno’s unbeaten record in the Cymru North.
Dave Forbes struck at the double as Holywell celebrated a very impressive outcome at The Rock.
Danny Sullivan set the ball rolling for Johnny Haseldin’s side when he broke the deadlock five minutes before the interval.
It all came to fruition very late for the Seagulls as goals in the last four minutes from Alex Downes, Tom McCready and James Kirby cemented an away win.
First-half goals from Connor Bird and Jamie Breese proved sufficient to seal the spoils for the Daffs.
Charlie Williams’ reply for Ruthin on 76 minutes was a mere consolation.
Louie Middlehurst’s 63rd minute penalty rescued a point for the visiting Colliers at Cae Baker.
Three minutes earlier, Jack Orbell had missed from the spot for Chirk.
Taylor Watts struck first in the 21st minute for Penrhyncoch, who had Steffan Gittins red-carded on 65.
