Ardal Northern – CPD Y Rhyl 1879 maintain their 100 percent record, Llanuwchllyn shine again

Newly-promoted 1879 are now the only Ardal North West team with a 100 percent record after Wednesday’s impressive victory over Flint Mountain at Belle Vue.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 40th minute when Kieran Ellis hit the bar from close range, then was first to react and head home.

Substitute Sion Williams doubled the lead on 59 minutes with a delightful effort from his first touch.
Skipper Alex Jones completed the scoring from the penalty spot after 75 minutes after Ellis had been fouled.
Hawarden Rangers 1 Rhydymwyn 0
It took a late moment of magic to separate the two sides, the only goal coming via a superb 90th minute free kick courtesy of Tom Bridges.
Saltney Town 4 Rhostyllen 1
James Rutter, Dan Lloyd, Tom Rowlands and substitute Joseph Jones banked the points for the Bordermen with a goal apiece, Tom Douglas delivering the sole visiting reply.
Llangefni Town 2 Llanrwst United 1
Matthew Jones’ double earned Llangefni victory after Sam Jones had handed Llanrwst a 10th minute lead.
Mathew Jones’ 80th minute winner came from the penalty spot.
Note: It is believed the Llangefni Town v Flint Mountain game, played on August 6 and abandoned on 86 minutes due to an injury with Cefni leading 2-1, will now have to be replayed. Updated news when available.
Denbigh Town 6 Llandudno Albion 2
Dan Clarke (3), Owen Cordiner, Paul Fleming and Nathan Brown combined to make this a convincing win for Denbigh, Calum Jones and Dave Maddock responding for Albion.

Daf Carruthers (2), Rhydian Davies and an own goal ensured Bow took all three points.
Builth Wells 1 Llandrindod Wells 1
It was a case of all’s Wells that ends Wells at Lant Fields as this Powys pair shared a draw.
Daniel Hall gave Llandrindod a 70th minute lead, but substitute Ciaran Price levelled on 88.
Corwen 0 Llanuwchllyn 3
Michael Pritchard, Sam Evans and Gwydion Ifan bagged the second-half goals which booked maximum points for Llanuwchllyn, but a young Corwen side put up a fine battle at the War Memorial Ground.
Home team coach Danny Jones was shown a red card in the first half after 36 minutes.
Penycae 1 Cefn Albion 1

Albion’s 100 percent record was stalled by Penycae in a hard battle at The Riverside.
Callum Mannion put the leaders ahead on two minutes, but Ben Duffy made it all-square after 29 and 1-1 is how it stayed.

Karl Seliaerts and Ryan McVeagh notched the goals which secured Llanfair a third straight win.
