Ex-Wales under-15 international and Welsh Cup winner Mia Rawling joins Llandudno

Adran North League champions Llandudno have announced their first new signing of the summer.
Midfielder Mia Rawling, 19, a second year university student, has joined the Maesdu Maidens, who were crowned inaugural tier 2 north title winners last season.
Her name will be a familiar one to many as dad Gareth and younger sister Sophie have a close association with football in the Llandudno area.
Mia came through the junior ranks with Llandudno and experienced much success before becoming part of the all-conquering Penrhyn Bay Under-16 team of 2018-19.

Bay won the Welsh Cup, North Wales Girls League and two domestic cups in an unforgettable campaign.
Mia remained with Penrhyn Bay in 2019-20 as a member of their adult side which competed in the North Wales Women’s League. She was top-scorer with nine goals.
Last season she concentrated mainly on her university studies, but returns to football in 2022-23 and is raring to go.
An attacking midfielder with a true eye for goal, Mia is also a quality passer of the ball and is highly respected for her ability to read a game.

Her first-ever girls team was Llandudno Junction. She scored a hat-trick on debut and was player of the match.
Mia is a Wales Under-15 international who represented her country in the 2017 Home Nations Tournament at St George’s Park.
She turned out for new club Llandudno in Sunday’s friendly at home to Llangefni Town.
