Northop Hall women triumph in Flintshire derby

Northop 79-5 (Net score 254) Northop Hall 102-2 (Net score 292)
Result: Northop Hall (20 points) beat Northop (4 pts) by 38 runs

Hall came out on top in last Wednesday’s North Wales League derby at Flint Road.

Hosts Northop won the toss and batted first, scoring 79-5 with 52 extras boosting the total.

Bella Williams top-scored with 11, while Kathryn Rhymer, Hollie Sigsworth and Hester Evans-Ford took a wicket each for Hall.

In reply, some excellent batting saw Hall finish on 102-2, sealing a 38-run success.

Hollie Sigsworth made a net 16, Becky Hicks 18 for once out (net 13), Rhymer 11 and Sarah Armstrong 10.

Mia Daniels picked up 2-17 for Northop.
