Northop Hall (14) 81-3 (16) – Net score 266
Northop (4) 75-2 (16) – Net score 265

Northop Hall won by one run

Hall returned to the East division summit after a thrilling one-run Flintshire derby victory over neighbours Northop.

Northop lost the toss and were put into bat, scoring 75-2 off their 16 overs for a net total of 265 runs.

Jane Williams top-scored with nine runs, while Alyson Oates made eight, Sarah Edwards the sole Hall wicket taker.

In reply, Hall’s total of 81-3 was enough to secure them the win by a single run.

Captain Hollie Sigsworth did best with 18, while Rebecca Hicks struck 11.

There was a wicket apiece for Northop’s Leanne Jenkins and Lily Denby.
