Alberbury won the toss and chose to bat, away skipper Luke Gardner taking 4-38 and Andrew Swarbrick 4-46 as the hosts were bowled out for 163.

In reply, Chirk took just 22.3 overs to reach 169-4, Jonathan Phillips (43 not out) and Mark Shaw (27 no) putting on an unbroken 61 for the fifth wicket.

Visitors Corvedale were in a hurry as they took just 17.2 overs to make the 161 needed for victory at Holyhead Road.
