Opener Llywelyn Cowell added 45 as the visitors posted 194-8 after electing to bat, Iroshan De Silva pocketing an excellent 3-13 off nine overs for the Park.

Gwersyllt were all back in the hutch for 140, Dafydd Millington 31, Guto Davies 3-26, Calum Jones 3-32 and Patrick Jelley 3-35 for the visitors.

Marchwiel and Wrexham (0) 53-10 Halkyn (15) 54-0

Skipper Ben Roberts bagged an outstanding 5-15 as Halkyn maintained their perfect start to the season.

The hosts won the toss and chose to bat, collapsing to 53 all out Muhammad Bajwa (2-5) and Jamie Griffiths (2-11) providing good back-up for Roberts.

Halkyn eased to 54 without loss in 12.3, Roberts 22 no and Gareth Fox 21 no for a 15-0 whitewash.
