Llandudno’s Ella Jones is first player to break 20 goals this season in North Wales women’s senior football

Ella Jones of Llandudno stretched her lead in the Goalden Girl table to seven at the weekend after netting twice in her team’s impressive 5-0 victory at Pwllheli.
It was a quiet Sunday for some of the other leading markswomen, however Bethel’s Mari Gibbard vaulted to 12 goals with her four against Denbigh, while team-mate Fflur Williams moved onto 11 after hitting five against the same opponents.
