Last season’s beaten finalists in the FAW Under-16 Girls Cup, Penrhyn Bay, have landed a home tie with Bethel in the last 16 of the 2021-22 competition.
Winners in 2018-19, Penrhyn reached the final in May this year, but lost 4-3 to Barry Town United, despite a Sophie Rawling hat-trick.
Now they have a chance of booking a quarter-final spot when they host Bethel in round two of the latest national knockout next month.
In other northern ties, Brickfield Rangers are home to Dreigiau Llanfairpwll and NFA of Rhyl will take on Caernarfon Town.
Over the last six weeks, teams from all corners of Wales have been competing in the group stages of the FAW U16 Girls’ Cup.
The clubs were split into nine groups of three with 27 entrants, with the group leaders and seven best runners up progressing to round two.
The draw for the second round was regionalised, with three games taking place in the north and five fixtures in the south.
Due to two fixtures being postponed, there is still one place to be confirmed, with Carmarthen Stars, Penrhyncoch and Thornhill all still in with a chance of progressing.
The draw took place at the FAW HQ in Hensol on Tuesday with fixtures scheduled to be played on Sunday 14th November.
