Lee Jones has been appointed manager of North Wales Coast West Premier Division club Glantraeth.
He replaces Sean Brett, who stepped down last weekend after 21 months in charge.
Defender Jones joins Glan from CPD Aberffraw, whom he signed for 14 months ago, having previously been player-manager at Gaerwen.
Glantraeth have not enjoyed the best of starts to the 2021-22 season in tier 4, currently lying fourth bottom of the table with just one win in seven games.
New boss Jones has also played for Glantraeth in the past and knows the committee well.
He said: “First of all, I’d also like to thank everyone at CPD Aberffraw for understanding the reasons behind my decision – it’s a great club and I wish them all the very best for the rest of the season.
“I’m very pleased to be given this opportunity at Glantraeth.
“I’d like to thank (chairman) Gari (Evans) as well as the other committee members for trusting me with this role – I’ll give it my all to be successful.”
He added: “It’s no secret that the club hasn’t had the best of starts to the season.
“However, there’s no game now until September 25th – this will give everyone a chance to reset and look forward to the rest of the season.
“I’ve managed, played against and alongside a number of the players in the squad so I know the quality we already have here.
“I hope to bring in a couple of new faces to increase competition in a few areas and I can’t wait to get going.”
