Great show from Llangefni Town

Llanfairfechan Town 0
Llangefni Town 3 (Cox, T Jones, Coulson)
Now Llangefni have the winning habit they can’t stop!
A back to full strength Cefni travelled to Llanfairfechan on Thursday night and recorded a second victory in as many games. The score finished 3-0 to Dan Gregg’s side from Anglesey.

Llanfairfechan, who operate at recreational league level, opted to play nine-a-side on a smaller pitch, but nevertheless Llangefni played some good football, without the space on the pitch for Jenn Cox to use her usual threat in behind.
The islanders showed more evidence of the passing ability they’ve worked so hard on recently.
Fielding different teams in each half, the first team built up a 2-0 lead through the prolific Cox and Tash Jones.

Carrying on from the trip to Denbigh last week, where Cefni celebrated their first-ever win with a 6-3 result against tier 2 Genero Adran North opposition, Jenn, Tash and Hannah Owen showed more of the link up play that has worked so well recently.

With nine changes in the second half, the second team remained solid throughout and Elle Coulson scored her first goal for the club, making it 3-0 from a lovely assist from Megan Wood.
Llanfairfechan put up a good fight and showed how much they have improved with some good football and aggression in their play.
