Penmaenmawr Phoenix flew into a 5-0 lead against Mochdre Sports before ending up 6-3 winners in their Premier Division derby.

Chris Quinn (2), Stevie Jones, Cory Young, Daniel Williams and an own goal made up the Phoenix tally.

Mochdre were much improved in the second half and made the final score more respectable, Josh Grimshaw, Scott Brown and Fin Jones all on target for them.

Llannefydd edged past Llandudno Junction 2-1 with man of the match Luke Appleby scoring both.

Luke Hughes responded for the Railwaymen.


Unbeaten leaders Cerrigydrudion kept up winning ways with a 5-3 result at Henllan.

Tomos Tryfan Jones (2), Tirion Griffiths, Gruffudd Edwards and Ynyr Roberts shared the away goals, Ashley Andrews, Alex Thomas and Sam Davies keeping Henllan in the contest.

Rhos United and Abergele battled out an exciting 4-4 draw.

Lewis Sealey (2), Adam Noble and Phemmy Allison combined for Rhos’ four, Dom Holland, Connah Atkinson, Daniel Abbott and Ryan Jones ensuring the visitors took a point.

In an all-town derby, NFA took the spoils 3-1 at Rhyl All Stars.

Liam Bowers put the visitors two-up before Jacob Jones replied before half time.

It took a late goal from NFA’s Matthew Robinson to settle it.

Rhyl Dragons claimed a very impressive point off the formidable Llandudno Amateurs.

Jack Gibbon and Barry Roche found the net for Dragons in a 2-2 draw, Steven Collins and Kyle Johnson the visitors’ marksmen.

In finished 6-0 for Penrhyn Bay Dragons at Betws-y-Coed, Stan Farrell (2), Jamie Ricketts, Solomon Dickens, Jack Kearney and Scott Kearney splitting the goals deluge.
