Another appeal to save Amlwch Town FC Ladies football team

Another appeal has gone out for players to help save Amlwch Town Ladies football team.

Since the side was unsuccessful in its application to enter Tier 2 North, last season’s coaches have left along with a number of key players.

Anglesey-based Amlwch now face a major rebuild to ensure they can compete in the North Wales area leagues in the 2021-22 season.

Their latest training session takes place tonight, Wednesday, June 30, at Lon Bach, starting at 6.30 pm.

Players old and new are welcome.

Amlwch Town have grown considerably in stature in recent times, winning the Supplementary Cup in 2018-19 and then the North Wales League Division Two title in 2019-20.

Now they need fresh blood to help build on the great work achieved.
