A semi-final place will be up for grabs when two North Wales teams meet in the last eight of the FAW Under-16 Girls Welsh Cup tomorrow.
Penrhyn Bay Girls & Women will host Northop Hall Girls in a much-awaited quarter-final where the Welsh Government’s no spectators rule still applies.
Both sides were 1-0 victors in last Sunday’s round two ties, Penrhyn Bay edging through at NFA thanks to a Net Metcalfe goal, while Ruby Hastings notched the decider in the Hall’s narrow success at Caernarfon Town.
In the previous round, Northop Hall defeated Brickfield Rangers 6-4, while Penrhyn Bay saw off Bethel 10-0.
Penrhyn Bay were the last team to lift the cup in 2018-19. Last season’s competition was scrapped before the final due to coronavirus.
