Cymru Premier previews: Caernarfon aim to wipe out memory of nightmare loss

Caernarfon Town return to the scene of arguably their worst performance of the season when they visit Penybont tomorrow (2.30 pm).

Huw Griffiths’ side will be keen to wipe out the memory of a 6-0 caning at Bryntirion Park last December.

After that debacle, the Canaries bounced back and went on an eight-game unbeaten run to secure themselves a place in the top six Championship Conference.

Unfortunately, Town have lost their first four matches in phase two, although the opposition has been very strong in Barry Town United (0-1). Connah’s Quay Nomads (1-6), Bala Town (2-5) and The New Saints (0-2).

Their latest outing – that 2-0 loss to leaders Saints at The Oval saw a much improved display from the Cofis.
