The New Saints cut the gap on Cymru Premier leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads to three points with a resounding 6-0 victory at Flint Town United.
Having hammered Flint 10-0 at Park Hall earlier in the season, Saints looked on course for a repeat when they led 5-0 at half time.
The visitors were four-up within 16 minutes, Ben Clarke, Ryan Astles and Louis Robles (2) leading the charge.
Adrian Cieslewicz struck again on 43 minutes and Ryan Brobbel completed the scoring after the break on 52.
Colin Caton’s 700th match as Bala Town manager was far from a memorable one as his team crashed 6-2 at Barry Town United, who sealed a top six place for the second phase of the season.
The Lakesiders led through league top-scorer Chris Venables’ 17th goal of the campaign on two minutes.
Kayne McLaggon and Evan Press hit back with goals two minutes apart to put Barry 2-1 up after quarter of an hour.
After the interval the hosts ran riot, McLaggon and Press both completing doubles, Chris Hugh and Curtis Hutson also on the mark. Kieran Smith notched a consolation for Bala.
Caernarfon Town saw off Cardiff Met 3-2 (see separate report on Grassroots North Wales).
Haverfordwest kept their hopes of a top six ending alive with a 3-0 triumph at Newtown, while Aberystwyth edged away from the bottom three with a 1-1 draw against Penybont.
