Iona’s Immeasurables (3-4-3)

Jo Roberts

Jo Roberts is middle row, to right of manager Keith Fearns’ left arm and directly below girl in peaked cap Cheryl Foster

A great keeper and an excellent shot stopper. Loved to make a normal save look spectacular.

Kim Broadbent

Kim Broadbent (yellow and green)

A calm head in the centre of defence. Can read the game very well and great in a tackle. She’s had some cracking bruises over the years.

Katie Davies

A solid and versatile player. Can play anywhere on the pitch but always solid in the centre of defence. Great in the air.

Sioned Bohana

One of the sweetest left foots you will come across in the game. Great at getting forward and solid in defence.

Tania Jones

The terrier in midfield. Would never pull out of a tackle. Every team needs a Tania. The heart of the team for years and very passionate about playing and also passionate about developing future players.

Siwan Elenid

Siwan is a workhorse and would run up and down the wing all day long. Great with the ball at her feet and not afraid of a tackle.

Manon Lloyd-Williams

Jiws’ pace was phenomenal. She would make a bad pass look good as she would get at the end of it as she was so quick. A great asset to any team.

Ceryl Jones

You don’t get the nickname Giggsy for nothing. One of the most skillful players I’ve seen. Always comfortable on the ball, can create and also score. Brilliant player.

Ailsa Orlik

Her work ethic was second to none. I loved playing with a striker who would chase defenders and she did this in every game. She has fantastic pace and would scare defenders with her dribbling. Great finisher as well.

Shan Jones

A great talent from a young age. Great finisher with phenomenal pace. She moved to the States to pursue a career in football and did very well.

Cheryl Foster

Skillful, quick and a goal scorer. Scored so many goals from a young age. Great with the ball at her feet and would scare defences with her pace.
