Mike Latham is a proven goalscorer

Mike Latham (FC Queen’s Park to Cefn Albion)

Attacking-midfielder who has built up a tremendous reputation over the years as a star player in the Wrexham area.

Representing Rhosddu and Gresford Athletic in his youth, Latham signed up for Welsh Premier club Cefn Druids, where he made a handful of substitute appearances before joining Lex XI in September 2008.

After brief spells with Llangollen Town and Caernarfon Town in 2009-10, Mike later moved to Penycae and Gresford Athletic, where he scored 28 goals in 35 appearances as the Colliers won the Welsh National League (Wrexham Area) Premier Division title in 2014/15.

In recent years, Latham has been a key man for FC Queen’s Park, helping them to numerous triumphs under Martin Ford and Dave Evans, as well as enjoying another goal-packed return to Gresford.

Now the 30-year-old aims to make a big impact at Cefn Albion of tier 3 Ardal North East.
