Midfield
Biggest highlight of football career so far
Representing the Anglesey side in the Island Games in Gotland in 2017 I would place at the top and in close 2nd I would say representing Wales in the UEFA Regions Cup in Estonia in 2014 where we became the first Welsh side to win a match in the competition.
Best goal scored

For me it was a winning goal for Holyhead Hotspur against Buckley Town. I won’t hit one like that again!
Strengths to your game
Work rate, heart
Weaknesses
Aerial ability
Best team-mate played alongside
I’d say Dion Donohue in the Boded days. Tom Taylor is also another one up there! Quality player.
Hardest opponent faced
I’d probably say Darren Thomas from Caernarfon. Playing in midfield with him sitting in pockets behind you was a nightmare to deal with.
Biggest influence in football
My biggest influence in football was always my father, taking me to every home and away matches through the junior leagues. I was also very lucky to be playing around fantastic players when coming through as a 16 year old. Experienced players like Kevin Wallis and Arwyn Hughes taught me a lot in the early days.

Funniest team-mate
Dewi Thomas. Fantastic player one of the best but he also is a great guy to have around the changing rooms.
Favourite away ground
On its day not many can beat Y Traeth in Porthmadog. As for an away day Barmouth is always an enjoyable one with the fans. 🍺
Other sporting achievements
Played a lot of snooker back in the day won a few competitions on the island.
Personal football ambitions
Not looking too far ahead at the moment. I’m looking forward to the season ahead and hopefully we’ll have trophies to play for at the end of the season.

The Script
Do you think Llannerchymedd are set for a successful season once football starts again?
I hope so. We haven’t been placed in the Tier we were hoping to be in, for whatever reason that may have been. But If we can replicate what he have done as a team in the past then we have a chance. There have been a few changes and some of the lads haven’t played together in years. Pre season might be a short one due to the current pandemic but will be the same for every team. We’ve all been in regular contact through lockdown putting our runs up on chat so the motivation is definitely there to try and make it a successful season.
Tell us something about you we might not know
This is the only question I haven’t been able to answer! 😂
(Dave: Can I have a go at this one? You share a birthday with former Manchester United and Netherlands legendary striker Ruud van Nistelrooy)
