I’m starting off with a final day of July one, as when I did July’s I didn’t know about Beth’s.

Won the North Wales Women’s League Division Two with Amlwch Town at 19
Promising young defender, mainly a left-back, whose football career is progressing very well.


Libby McClelland

Centre-midfielder formerly with Prestatyn Ladies, Kinmel Bay, Point of Ayr and now plays for Rhyl-side NFA.
Mum to John, partner to George, works as a caravan sales administrator.
Strong in the tackle and a good passer of the ball.

Angharad Evans

Currently plays for Bethel, but formerly with Llangefni U11s, Llangefni girls U12s, Bangor City U14s and U16s, Bangor City Ladies and Bethesda, where she was a North Wales League Division Two title-winner in 2018-19.
Skilful midfielder who represented Ynys Môn in the 2019 Inter-Island Games.
Football-mad youngster who has represented the Welsh regions squad. Fan of Harry Styles and making keepy-uppy football videos.


Caroline Gardner

Experienced defender-midfielder, strong in the tackle and always hard-working.
Played for Rhyl in the Welsh Premier League days.


Lucy Vaughan

Good defender who was a mainstay of the Rhyl back-line when they played in the Welsh Premier.


Jody Cain

Midfielder-attacker who is currently with Bethel but has also played for Caernarfon Town.
Captained the Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen side which won the 2017 Welsh Schools Cup final. Also won the North Wales Girls League U16s Cup Final with Bethel against Wrexham RCF Academy.
Possesses a cracking shot. Young, skilful operator who has already made her mark for Bethel’s first team having previously starred for the youth sides.
Also a renowned runner and disco-dancer. Hails from a keen football family, all with a talent for taking photographs.


Erin Maloney

Talented CPD Merched Bethel all-rounder who was top scorer in the North Wales Women’s League last season with 21 goals in all competitions.
Senior teams played for: Bethel, Caernarfon. Schools: Ysgol David Hughes, Ysgol Gynradd Llandegfan.
Also plays in Beaumaris Brass Band and has competed for Anglesey in the Island Games as a sprinter. Was also part of the Ynys Môn squad which reached the 2019 Inter-Island Games final.

Seren Williams (Kinmel Bay)

Quality midfielder who has turned out for Llandudno and Kinmel Bay.


Emma Parry (Airbus)

Centre midfielder whose teams throughout her career are: Buckley Town Boys, Buckley Girls, Connah’s Quay Nomads academy, Quay Celts, Chester City Ladies, UWIC (now Cardiff Met), and Airbus.
Loves travelling, currently taking a break from football.


Carol Jones (Llanberis)

I think Carol is in this ace pic of CPD Merched Llanberis!

Dependable goalkeeper who shared the glove-wearing duties with Jamie Boyd for new side Llanberis last season. A great character.

Bridget Madigan (Llanfairfechan)

Defender who loved her first season in football with Llanfairfechan in the North Wales Ladies Recreational League in 2019-20.
Big fan of snacks (great way to be).


Sadie Richards (Llanfairfechan)

Mum-to-be currently having a break from her duties as manager of Llanfairfechan.
Striker who knows where the goal is, injuries held her back last season with Llanfair.
Hails from a footballing family.
