Preliminary round

Connah’s Quay Nomads v Bethel

Tie now switched to Deeside after last weekend’s call-off at Bethel.
Two teams with plenty of attacking intent and lots of goals in the ranks.
Bethel defeated Nomads 4-2 at home in the NEWFA Cup a fortnight ago, so the Quay will be out for revenge.

Round one

Amlwch Town v Caernarfon Town

Jordan Roberts (yellow) will give it everything for Caernarfon

Comfortable home win on the cards with Amlwch possessing an experienced, accomplished squad this season and Caernarfon very much in the process of rebuild.
Goal aces Ffion Owen and Lexi Crawley could make their former team suffer if on their usual deadly form.

Denbigh Town v Llanberis

Siwan Roberts will aim to tighten up Denbigh’s defence

Division One hosts Division Two, but Llanberis have strengthened in recent weeks, while higher-level Denbigh took a big knock in being caned 8-3 in the Welsh Cup by Connah’s Quay.

Mountain Rangers v Wrexham

Sioned Bohana is looking forward to her Rangers debut

Rangers strengthened again in the week with the signing of experienced defender Sioned Bohana from Llandudno.
Although Wrexham play in the division above, they have struggled for results this season and a home win looks the favourite, unless the Dragons really get it together on the day.

Pwllheli v Corwen

Difficult first season in Division One so far for Corwen, with injuries, unavailability and a series of postponements giving them little chance of getting going.
Pwllheli have been scoring plenty of goals, and have been especially strong at home.

Rhyl v Penrhyn Bay

Experienced Rhyl trio Ceri Purvis, Joy Jamieson and Natalie Harrison

Rhyl have kicked off the campaign really well, last season’s squad sticking together and with one or two additions they have really looked the part in Division One.
Penrhyn Bay will be no pushovers, though. Much improved from last season and already having given a number of strong performances. Could finish up a good contest.
