Bethel v Cardiff Met
Swansea City v Pwllheli
Cardiff City Women FC v Abergavenny
Pontypridd v Barry Town United
Northop Hall v Llanfair United
Back in 2017-18 Northop Hall won the NEWFA Cup as part of a double which also included the North Wales League title.
This Sunday, they would be delighted to progress in the same cup they won four years ago when they host higher-level side Llanfair.
After a few poor early results, the Powys team are much improved and in Gemma Jones and Tonicha Lloyd have goal scorers in sharp form.
The Hall’s performances have been up and down this season, but if they can reproduce the type of display they showed in getting a draw at Rhyl 1879, they could push Llanfair hard.
Wrexham v Connah’s Quay Nomads
Two teams battling for the tier 2 Genero Adran North title have also been paired together in the NEWFA Cup.
It is one win apiece in the league between Wrexham and Nomads this season.
The Quay beat the Dragons 5-2 last October, but Steve Dale’s side gained revenge by pipping the Deesiders 3-2 at Brymbo on January 23 to go top of the league.
Holywell v Welshpool Town
Welshpool are unbeaten in 2022 and will target another three points at Carmel Cricket Club.
Holywell recently had three deducted points returned to them on appeal, leaving them now on minus one at the table basement.
The Flintshire ladies are still targeting that elusive first win and know that getting it would put them in credit.
Llanystumdwy v Trearddur Bay
Bay have shown a lot of improvement of late, losing just 2-0 at tier 2 Denbigh Town in the North Wales Coast Challenge Cup last weekend and going down only 2-1 to high-flying Amlwch on January 23.
Can the Anglesey side go one better against a Llanystumdwy team capable of good things but which has lost both their league games played this year?
