Netball: Gwynedd and Anglesey League Division Two round-up: November 13
Tacos won a good battle with the Moniars

Gwynedd and Anglesey Winter Netball League Division Two report and results – November 12, 2019

All of Tuesday’s matches in Division Two were fairly close with every team able to take some positives away from their performance.

Llangefni led after the first quarter against Pwllheli Subway Warriors and the Anglesey team were just two behind at half time.

Warriors clinched it by taking the third section 9-3, while Cefni did well to win the last 6-4, but by then had left themselves too big a mountain to climb.

Amigos paid the price for a slow start when they found themselves nine goals adrift at the midway stage against WaliB’s.

Although Amigos came back stronger in the second half and won the final quarter, WaliB’s took the victory comfortably enough.

Tacos and Moniars were almost inseparable for the first two quarters, the score standing just 10-9 at half time.

In the third, Tacos took total command, winning it 9-2 to establish a 19-11 advantage.

Then in a similar pattern to other matches on the night, Moniars won the curtain-closer 6-3, but had left themselves too much to do.

Wnion were just 8-6 ahead after the opener against Sombreros, but from there the Dolgellau side were in charge, although their opponents had a good third quarter.
