Monday night football round-up and Tuesday fixtures

Glantraeth celebrated their first win of the season in the Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd League with a 3-1 success at Llannerchymedd.

Aaron Rickards and Cian Evans struck for Glan in the first half, and although Sion Griffiths pulled one back for Medd early in the second period, another from Evans sealed the points.

Bontnewydd were on fire as they romped to a 7-1 success at Ogwen Tigers.

Cai Penny Williams was the star player for the visitors with four goals, Aled Steele adding a double and Daniel Evans also on the mark.

Kyle Hartleb netted Ogwen’s sole reply.

As covered elsewhere on this website, Bangor 1876 made it two wins out of two with a 10-0 drubbing of Caergybi at Treborth.

Dylan Summers-Jones bagged a treble for the hosts, while there were doubles for Jamie Petrie and Jos Lloyd Jones and singles from Cian Williams, Cameron Barry and Leon Owens. Les Davies also played a big part for the hosts, providing five assists.

The league’s next action is on Thursday night, when the following fixtures take place (6.30 pm kick-offs):

Welsh Alliance League

In the Reserves Division, Pwllheli enjoyed a 4-2 home win over Nantlle Vale.

Dylan Jones, Steve Topliss, Cai Huws and Iwan Roberts were the Pwll marksmen, Aaron Wyn Williams and Gwion Hughes responding.
