NWCFA West League line-ups 2024-25 – two old friends set to rejoin the pyramid
Deiniolen and Valley are set to make a welcome return to the North Wales senior football pyramid in 2024-25.
Both have applied to join the Tier 5 North Wales Coast West League Division One for the forthcoming campaign.
Based a few miles from Caernarfon, Deiniolen is the home village of former Wales international and now S4C football pundit Malcolm Allen.
The club has not featured in a senior league since playing in Division Two of the former Caernarfon and District in 2007-08.
CPD Deiniolen peaked in the mid 1990s when they lifted the NWCFA Junior Cup in 1993-94, beating Llansannan 2-0 in the final, before landing the Caernarfon and District League title the following season.
Anglesey-based Valley were last in the NWCL West in 2022-23, when under the name CPD Y Fali they finished 10th in Division One
The make-up of the 2024-25 North Wales Coast West League is expected to be ratified at its AGM on Monday, July 1.
Bethesda Athletic rejoin the Premier Division after their relegation from Ardal North West, while Bontnewydd, Llanystumdwy and CPD Boded rise up from Division One.
Deinolen and Valley Seniors are new members of Division One, which also welcomes an Amlwch Town team relegated from the Premier.
