Denbigh came out for the second half determined to find a way back into the game, applying pressure and pushing forward in search of an equaliser.

Their persistence paid off in the 62nd minute, when Evans turned provider, finding Catrin Bell, whose effort found its way past the Bay keeper.

With everything still to play for, both teams continued to battle at a tremendous pace. The game opened up, with end-to-end football and some thunderous strikes testing both goalkeepers. Neither side was willing to settle for a point, but both keepers were equal to the challenge, producing some outstanding saves to keep their teams in the contest.
