Clubs in the NWCFA Development League are urged to attend an important meeting next week to express views on how their league is run.
The North Wales Coast FA will host a fact-finding get-together for secretaries of all Development League clubs at Bangor City Stadium on Monday, October 19, at 7 pm.
The management board of the Development League is currently suspended by the NWCFA following a series of complaints from member clubs about how they have been treated.
The board has appealed against the ban to the Football Association of Wales.
The purpose of Monday’s meeting is to hear directly from clubs about the management and administration of the league.
It will provide an opportunity for open discussion, allowing clubs to share their experiences, offer constructive suggestions and raise and concerns or criticisms about the league, its management structure or officers with the Area Association.
An email sent out to clubs states: “We encourage all clubs to speak openly and honestly. No club will be penalised or disadvantaged for expressing its views or raising concerns in good faith.
“We welcome both positive and critical feedback. as a balanced understanding of clubs’ experiences is essential to this process.
“This is your league, and your views matter. As the Area Association, we want to make sure any decisions we make are properly informed and serve the best interests of the clubs, their players and football across the area.”

Clubs are invited to send two representatives to the meeting, with the attendance of secretaries emphasised as especially important.
The NWCFA Development League comprises two divisions – East and West – both made up of 12 teams. The vast majority of matches take place on a Sunday.
