Caernarfon youngsters do town proud, but league leaders Denbigh edge the win

Denbigh fought back from going a goal down at Treborth to claim victory and sit top of the table after three consecutive wins.
Playing their first league game of the season, Caernarfon performed well in the first half and took a 33th minute lead through Erin Bowness, Catrin Thomas with the assist.
Three minutes into the second half, Denbigh were back level. Loz Jones squared across the box and skipper Catrin Bell made it one-apiece.
In the 64th minute, Loz Jones chipped the ball over Caernarfon defenders into the box, Sophie Evans chased and controlled, stretching out to beat the advancing keeper.

The last 10 minutes were very intense with both sides battling hard and creating chances, but it ended 2-1 to the visitors.
Eight of the Caernarfon starting line-up are just 17-years-old so this is a promising young team with a future.
