NORTH WALES WOMEN’S FOOTBALL ROUND UP – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27

ADRAN PREMIER PHASE 1

Briton Ferry Llansawel 1 Wrexham 8

Wrexham set a club record victory in the Adran Premier for a second week running as they put eight past outgunned Briton Ferry.
Katie Barker and Natalie Thomas both knocked in hat-tricks for the ruthless league champions at The Renewable Centre Stadium.
Jenny Sugarman’s side led 4-1 at half time, Thomas, Barker (2, 1 pen) and Lili Mai Jones on target with Katy Hosford replying for the hosts.
In the second half, Thomas struck twice more to complete a treble, Barker doing likewise with a single and Maria Francis-Jones also made the scoresheet.
The win took Wrexham top on goal difference and next Sunday they entertain The New Saints, who also have a 4-0 100% record.

Flint Town United 8 CPDM Y Felinheli 2

Goals galore at the Essity where Flint sparkled their way to a last 16 spot.
The Silkwomen were three-up by half time courtesy of goals from captain Ruby McGilloway and a Shannon Hobbs double.
Ruby Hastings made it four early in the second half before Catrin Evans replied from the penalty spot for Felinheli.
Laura Williams got in on the act with a double, Hastings grabbed her second and newcomer Bella Riley completed the home scoring late on after coming on as a substitute.
Jenna Allsup notched a consolation second for Felin, who continue to struggle without a recognised goalkeeper on their books.

Llanfair United 4 CPD Bangor City 1876 0

A first defeat of the season for Bangor.
Mary Bailey, Emma Williams, Paris Schofield and sub Tania Wylde shared the goals for Llanfair.

ADRAN NORTH

Wrexham Foresters 3 Berriew 0

Foresters marked their debut league fixture in Adran North with a three-goal home triumph over Berriew.
The home side led 1-0 at the break courtesy of a penalty from Maizie Johnson.
Johnson provided the assist for Foresters’ second goal on 63 minutes, netted by last season’s 66-goal top scorer, player-manager Kirstie Kural.
Another penalty four minutes from time sealed it for the hosts, Savannah Miller converting.

NORTH WALES COAST WOMEN’S LEAGUE

Amlwch Town 0 CPD Pwllheli 8

Jini Owen Hughes hit four goals and provided two assists in a magnificent individual performance for Pwllheli in this emphatic victory at Lon Bach.
Stacey Sansome, Lois Thomas, Sian Moore and Heidi Condliffe also found the net for the visitors.

Denbigh Town 7 Trearddur Bay 2

Four goals from goalkeeper-turned-striker Loz Jones guided Denbigh to a thumping win over Trearddur Bay at Central Park.
Jones netted on 35, 49, 50 and 55 for the hosts, Sophie Evans, Catrin Bell and sub Mabli Fitzgerald providing the rest, a Carla Rizzi own goal having given Bay the lead. Shelley McMullan also scored a brilliant goal for the visitors.

Llangefni Town 4 Kinmel Bay 1

Trailing to an early penalty converted by Kinmel Bay captain Seren Williams, Llangefni hit back to record a 4-1 victory and make a winning start to their defence of the league title.
Club record scorer Jess Jones provided a hint of what she can achieve this season by netting on 31 and 36 minutes before Lowri Thomas and Milly Lowe added singles for the islanders.

Towyn 2 NFA 8

Sixteen-year-old Jasmine Smith scored a hat-trick on her debut for NFA in a resounding 8-2 triumph at Towyn.
The far more experienced Amy Webster also struck three times for the visitors, whose other goals were provided by Cassandra Thomas (pen) and a Jodie Johnson strike.
Towyn replied through Baileigh Aaron and Shanie-May Fleming.

It finished all-square at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium, Rhian Lewis and Alicia Thomas on the mark for Airbus, while Ainara Laura Schmid-Mielgo and Farrah Aslam replied for the visitors.

Buckley Town 1 Wrexham Foresters Res 3

A hat-trick from Evie Wigley, goals scored on 45+1, 68 and 87 minutes, banked the points for Foresters, Courteney Page responding for Buckley.

Connah’s Quay Nomads U19s 9 Northop Hall Reserves 0

Lexi Walsh was a five-goal star for Nomads Under-19s at The Quay 3G.
Signed from Kinmel Bay last season, the 17-year-old found the net on 39, 70, 72, 84 and 90+3 minutes for the hosts, new recruit Renee Day adding a double, sub Daisy Willons also scoring twice.

Northop Hall 14 Coedpoeth United 0

Double-figures for Northop Hall, who made it three straight wins to kick off 2026-27.
Tyler Price (4), Taylor Roberts (2), Amy Davies (2), Olivia Davies (2), Chelsea Evans (2), Olivia England and Joann Bennion split the goals for the home side.
