Bethesda’s first league win was secured in the 93rd minute by what will surely end up being one of the North Wales goals of the season.
Corey Lundstram hit a phenomenal left-foot strike from his own half which sailed in over Connah’s Quay Town keeper Elliott Jones to clinch a thrilling victory.
It was a fourth goal of the campaign for the 19-year-old Lundstram, who comes from a well-known family of net-finders including brother Benn and dad Mike, who are in the same Bethesda team.
Saturday’s clash at Parc Meurig saw Pesda lead 1-0 at half time courtesy of a Corey Lundstram penalty on 29 minutes.
David Hayes made it 2-0 in the 56th minute, but Connor Parry soon pulled one back for the visitors and when Hayes put through his own goal with 63 on the clock, the match was all-square.
Quay had Jordan Hensel red-carded in the 88th minute but it looked like it would end up a draw before Corey Lundstram scored that wonder winner which sparked major celebrations on the field and in the Bethesda dugout. The goal can be seen on the club’s Facebook account and is well worth a look.

James Hobson delivered a double on 23 and 62 minutes to earn Phoenix three points which lifted them up to third in the table.
LOCK STOCK ARDAL NORTH EAST
Bow Street 2 Llangollen Town 3
Connor Kendrick’s 92nd minute decider banked the points which raised Llangollen up to third in Ardal North East.
On a ground where they lost 5-2 last season, Town went a goal behind in the 51st minute when Josh Crowl struck for Bow Street.
Llangollen rallied, goals from Ed Baker on 64 minutes and Oliver Clowes after 74 edging them in front before Taylor Watts leveled on 77.
The stage was set for a winning strike and the prolific Kendrick provided it in added time.
Carno 4 Kerry 3
A late surge from Kerry failed to save them from defeat.
Carno won the day through a Llewelyn Jerman hat-trick and a Tomos Evans single, Barry Bellis, Khyam Wyton (pen) and Neil Mitchell responding for the Lambs.
Both teams had a player sent off for two yellows – Jake Mann of Kerry on 40 minutes and David Callum Breese for the hosts after 73.
Knighton Town 4 FC Queens Park 1
Queens Park finished up with eight men after a second defeat on the bounce prevented them from taking over top spot.
Knighton were deserved winners, Sam Hoyle (2), Finley Williams and Thomas Dwyer sharing the home haul, Matthew Worrall on the mark for the visitors.
The Park had three players dismissed – Jordan Williams on 55 and Ethan Simpson after 92 for two yellows, while sub Oscar Egerton was shown a straight red on 89.
The Wrexham team’s coach Ryan Roberts also received two yellows.
Rhos Aelwyd 1 Builth Wells 1
Scott Reeves gave Aelwyd a 45th minute lead, but Lyndon Jones equalised on 50 to earn Builth a point.
