NWCFA DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE – REPORTS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13

EAST DIVISION

Meliden Development 4 Prestatyn Town Development 4

Hat-trick hero Cameron Vaughan’s 92nd minute equaliser rescued a point for leaders Prestatyn in last Sunday’s derby at Ffordd Ty Newydd.

This eight-goal thriller saw Meliden stormed into a 3-0 half time lead despite having goalkeeper Anthony Gunther red-carded in the 23rd minute.

Goals from Harrison Mills-Morgan, Morgan Gray and Connor Begley put the Miners in command at the break.

The second half saw a major turnaround as Prestatyn pulled level at 3-3 before the hour, Vaughan striking twice and Kaiden-Lee Taylor on the mark.

Mills-Morgan restored the home lead on 73, but Vaughan’s late leveller ensured Prestatyn avoided back-to-back defeats.

Deio Jones (3, 1 pen), sub George Pierce (2), Alex Williams, Dafydd Jones and Keiran Kendrick combined to earn Henllan a thumping home victory.

Llandudno Junction Development 2 Llysfaen Development 0

Second-half strikes from Cai Adams and James Dean ensured on-form Junction picked up another win.

Mochdre Sports Development 13 Rhyl Rangers Development 2

Soloman Moore banged in SEVEN goals in a ruthless Mochdre performance.

Both Moore and William Rylance pocketed first half hat-tricks to give Sports a 6-0 interval cushion.

Moore added four  more in the opening 10 minutes of the second half before Deacan Leuty, sub Harley Williams and Riley Cranham brought up the 13.

Oliver McCarthy and Tobey Sergent replied for the visitors.

Prestatyn Sports Development 5 CPD Y Glannau Tim Datblygol 1

Osian Davies knocked in a treble for Prestatyn Sports in a convincing triumph at The Meadows.

James Wong and Finley Lloyd were also on target for the hosts, Bailey Buesden responding with his 13th goal in seven games for Y Glannau, who had won their previous three matches without conceding.

St Asaph Development 5 Denbigh Town Development U21 4

Saints edged a nine-goal derby cracker.

Harrison Northall (2), Macauley Lewis (2, 1 pen) and Matthew Edge supplied the home goals, captain Mathew Shaw (2), Ioan Lloyd and Cai Williams running Denbigh close.

WEST DIVISION

Anthony Williams (2, 1 pen), Dion Griffiths and Rhodri Roberts shared the goals in Gaerwen’s success, Charlie Jackson with both for the Darans.

Emphatic win on the road for Llanrug, Owain Jones (2), Ifan Evans, Osian Neary and sub Sion Jones splitting the goals.

CPD Pentraeth Development 3 Datblygu D21 Bangor City 1876 6

Lucas Cruz made it back-to-back hat-tricks for Bangor with another treble in a 6-2 verdict at Pentraeth.

Cai Thomas, Morgan Roberts and Archie McGrath added one apiece for the visitors, Marquis Holland and |Morgan Rogers for the hosts.

CPD Pwllheli – Tim Datblygu 4 Nantlle Vale Development 1

Seven straight wins for leaders Pwllheli with Cai Tibble (2), Ethan Hunt and Lukas Baltovic deivering the goods in front of goal, Osian Pygall replying.

Talysarn Celts – Tim Datblygu 1 Trearddur Bay Development 2

Leo Morris and Liam Moore notched the goals which earned maximum points for Trearddur Bay, Cai Hughes with the home net-finder.
